Portugal Has Just Equalized In Extra Time, 2-2: It’s A Final


Is it too much to call this the biggest international soccer match in the history of the USMNT? Probably. But imagine the implications of the U.S. beats Portugal today. It could happen. Portuguese star left back Fabio Coentrao is out with a thigh injury. And center back Pepe is out for headbutting Germany’s Thomas Müller in the first half of their first game. The U.S. will be missing Jozy Altidore, who has a thigh injury and is probably out for the tournament.
