Is This The Most Intimidating Pre-Game Ritual In Sports?

Yes, I believe it is. New Zealand’s national rugby team, the All Blacks, performs the “Haka,” a traditional Māori dance before all of its games. Between this, and the previously-discussed last second nail biter between the All Blacks and Australia, I may need to start watching rugby.

There really is nothing like the Haka in American sports, and the closest thing I can think of is Drew Brees’ Army-inspired pregame in New Orleans. But I would like nothing better than to start seeing stuff like this in the US.

Can you imagine two opposing teams of football players, helmets off, staring at each other at midfield before a game, then suddenly breaking into a war chant? So cool.
