UFC Champ Jon “Bones” Jones Was Bailed Out Of Jail By His Mother This Morning

Jon “Bones” Jones, the most exciting young fighter in the country and one who’s just a few weeks removed from successfully defending his UFC light heavyweight title, was arrested for DUI early this morning in Binghamton, NY, reports TMZ. Jones reportedly totaled his brand new Bentley in the accident, which occurred around 5 a.m., and he was arrested on the scene by police.

Then his mom bailed him out of jail. Per TMZ:

According to our sources, Jones was taken into custody by Broome County Sheriff and bailed out a few hours later … by his mom. Jones is from nearby Ithaca.

Bones’ management team later confirmed the arrest, and UFC President Dana White, who usually runs point on PR when his fighters do dumb things, told TMZ via text, “Wow, i guess its not my week is it?” (The bad week that White is referring to most likely has to do with these death threats he received.)
