Boxer Jorge Linares’ Entire Body Should Probably Not Look Like That
Thankfully, boxing wasn’t all controversy, anger, and disappointment last night. In an undercard lightweight match, Antonio DeMarco beat Jorge Linares…but he needed to get a lot of blood out of Linares before he finally did it. With the photo above, you can see what Linares looked like before the fight finally ended. He’s one of the bloodiest boxers we’ve ever seen.
Last week, we remarked that an in-game photo of a bloodied Brian Cushing was the football-est picture we’d seen in a while. Well, that photo of Linares above is as boxing as it gets. He fought as hard as he possibly could in defeat, and it’s safe to say that most people who see this photo of him will remember the effort you have to give to look like that, rather than the end result. Credit Linares and DeMarco for a hard-fought contest, and photographer Stephen Dunn for a terrific shot.
