Hey Look, It’s Michael Phelps Nailing a 159-Foot Putt (Video)

Michael Phelps is retired now, so golf is an appropriately natural progression. Phelps is playing at the Dunhill Links Championship in Scotland this weekend, and apparently it’s televised. When he was on the par 4 6th hole, sporting a respectable -2 for the tournament, and he found himself 159 feet away from the pin. So he broke out the putter.

Yes, that would be a 159-foot putt from Michael Phelps. If you can’t quite gage the absurd distance of his putt, it took 16 seconds from the time he struck the ball to when it landed in the hole. And, “even with his fitness,” it took him a full 20 seconds to saunter over to the pin grab the ball. And that’s including a half-hearted jog.
