Rory McIlroy Texts His Ex-Girlfriend, Asks Her Not To Have “Golf Pros And Tennis Hoes” Theme Party

Earlier in his career, PGA golfer Rory McIlroy dated childhood sweetheart and Ulster Rugby cheerleader Holly Sweeney. This past April, when Rory epically blew  a fourth round lead at the Masters, Holly flew to meet and comfort him in Augusta. So it must have stung the younger Holly when Rory made their break more permanent by heeding our pleas and taking up with Tennis Star Caroline Wozniacki.

But, within the past 6 months, Rory and Caroline’s PDA must have hurt Sweeney even more, because she’s getting her revenge with a Golf Pros and Tennis Hoes themed party as part of an Irish TV show. Rory was not happy, and texted his displeasure to Sweeney while she was on set.

‘She started laughing and said Rory had just discovered that she was having a tennis and golf themed night and asked her to back out of it. She just laughed and carried on cooking,’ the TV3 show source said.

Holly is said to wear a very short white tennis skirt and tight top for her dinner party.
