Watch A Golf Shot Break A Clay Pigeon In Mid-Air

Whether you’re an avid golf fan or somebody who thinks watching golf induces an afternoon nap better than Ambien, you need to check out this video in which a group of European Tour golfers take aim at clay pigeons in Dubai.

English pro Simon Khan finally crushes one of the flying discs in what I assume took awhile (one of the golfers says “We’re a lot closer than we were at the beginning of the day”).

Presumably, the guys didn’t stick around to see if anyone else could accomplish the feat.

After several looks at golfers nearly missing the pigeons, Khan nails one, and the golfers erupt in a fit of celebration and laughter as Kahn starts running through the sand and throws his hat off. It’s a good thing it wasn’t John Daly running through the desert, or a lot more than a hat might have been flying off.

Equally as exciting as the clay pigeon shot is this video of European Tour golfers shooting at a gong from 200 yards away. Though we’re not sure Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell would be too impressed with hitting a gong from 200 yards away with the advantage of using golf clubs (“Ha! Golf Clubs! The Chinese could bang a gong from 200 yards away using nothing but their minds”).
