Charles Barkley “Ain’t Givin’ Away No Free Money”

Charles Barkley has had plenty of fun poked at him for his new Weight Watchers commercials, but an open video feed caught Chuck biting the hand that feeds. When TNT went to commercial, an open video feed caught Chuck, Kevin Harlan, and Reggie Miller discussing Chuck’s commercial. Chuck wasn’t dismissive or insulting and he seems to take it seriously but, well – just watch:

So while Charles is essentially dissing his current job just as much as the Weight Watchers gig, not sure they’ll be amused. Then again, it’s Charles Barkley, so my guess is they’ll take it for what it is…damn funny.

He wasn’t saying Weight Watchers is a scam. He said how much its working, and that he feels great.

He said that getting paid to lose weight by Weight Watchers is a scam. For Charles Barkley, this is a compliment.

Except you’ll notice that CJ never says that Barkley calls Weight Watchers a scam – he says he ”
wasn’t dismissive or insulting,” and that he’s “dissing his current job ” and the Weight Watchers gig – i.e. HE’S the one scamming THEM. Looks to me like CJ got it just fine.
