Of Course Charlie Sheen Had A Meltdown Outside Staples Center Yesterday. Of Course He Did.

Hey, remember when Charlie Sheen was a thing? That was weird, right? “Winning,” news show interviews, various zany catchphrases, and whatnot? It all seems so long ago – which is probably for the best.

But just because people eventually stopped caring about his every utterance (despite what his appearances in various commercials might suggest) doesn’t mean he stopped being Charlie Sheen. And for proof of that, witness a confrontation he had with a security guard outside the Staples Center at Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Finals last night. Apparently the guard wouldn’t let Sheen back in after he stepped outside to smoke (since that’s, you know, one of the rules of the building). And Sheen did not like being held to the same standard as other people:

And there you have it: try to make someone who thinks he’s too rich to follow rules follow rules, and you’ll take shit for it. As Sheen himself might apparently say: common sense. Oh, and he also had a verbal showdown with a fan outside the arena, too, although it seems that one was provoked. Charlie Sheen: still Charlie Sheen. Let’s all dream of a day when no one cares about that anymore.
