How Chris Bosh Didn’t Beat The Shit Out Of Skip Bayless This Morning Is Beyond Me

Remember when ESPN’s Skip Bayless called Heat forward Chris Bosh “Bosh Spice” all of last year? Remember how he intimated that Bosh was effete, non-masculine, and soft? Remember how he called him a woman on TV for weeks and weeks, and inspired tons of people to say nasty things about Chris Bosh?

Well today on ESPN’s First Take, Chris Bosh finally got to sit across from Skip Bayless and tell him how he felt about all of that. And instead of taking Bayless’ interestingly-formed face and smashing it into “the debate desk,” he calmly and thoughtfully told Skip Bayless that the “Bosh Spice” thing wasn’t just an affront to him, but to his entire family.

Tugging at your heartstrings, like a Bosh.

Skip can be annoying and/or negative at times. I’ll grant you that.

But he’s also a keen observer of all things major sports in the USA.

I have to give him kudos here for not backing down. It would have been far easier to give a fake apology that most of us would have seen right through.

I also give Bosh some credit for defending his family name.

Skip is a jerk. There is nothing Keen about him not admitting he’s performing for the cameras and creating buzz. Bosh is a better man than he. Skip and now everyone on this board knows that.
These ESPN talking heads oversimp
