Dan Le Batard Gets An ESPN2 Show, Will Be Sweating All Over Your TV Starting In September
Dan Le Batard, a very good Miami Herald columnist who’s also known for screaming crazy things at the top of his radio broadcasts on 790 The Ticket, will be hosting his very own studio show on ESPN2 starting in September.
The show will air at 4pm and bump SportsNation to the 5pm slot starting September 12.
Le Batard, whose new show will be pre-taped (he says he won’t do a live show because he’d “drown in his own sweat”), apparently won over ESPN producers with his sweatily good PTI fill-ins.
“He’s always our go-to [fill-in] host and we felt he deserved a wider audience,” Keegan said. “He has the rare and special TV personality. He’s opinionated but is self-effacing and has self-awareness to make him last. He’s not forcing his opinions on people.”
The show will be called Dan Le Batard is Highly Questionable, and will probably not contain references to LeBron James’ giant royal penis.
