Dan Le Batard Makes Creepy Hostess Metaphor In Describing Lebron/Wade Relationship (Video)
Dan Le Batard, one of the tired media masses charged with nonstop writing, radio showing and TV talking during this free agent frenzy, is most likely a little exhausted and a bit delirious by this point.
He’s probably done countless pieces and appearances in the last few weeks positing Dwyane Wade and LeBron James’ plans for next season, having to find new ways to essentially say the same thing: Wade is definitely staying, and LeBron will probably join him.
So, it’s (almost) forgivable that he likened Dwyane Wade to an anxious housewife awaiting LeBron’s arrival during a phone interview on SportsCenter this morning.
When Kevin Neghandi asked Le Batard about whether or not Wade will accept LeBron as a teammate, Le Batard replied:
“What Wade has done is open up his house to LeBron James, he’s put out his best linens, he’s made the bed, he’s made a feast for a King and said, ‘C’mon, let’s eat together! Let’s gorge together!’”
Let’s!
Watch the video here (Le Batard does his interpretation of Better Homes and Gardens around the 1:50 mark):
