Diego Maradona Would Like You To Know That He Feels No Sexual Attraction Toward His Players
Diego Maradona, everyone’s favorite soccer legend/slightly unhinged coach, recently spoke with the BBC about his teams chances to make the round of 16.
Diego said that he currently has “peace of mind” regarding his team’s prospects, and that his job is made easy by the fact that he has such talented players. Oh, and he “still prefers women.” What?
Apparently, Maradona felt the need to assert his sexuality after his post-game celebration following Argentina’s win.
Maradona celebrated the victory, which followed a 1-0 win over Nigeria in their opener, by hugging and kissing his players, but he insisted afterwards: “I still prefer women.
“I am dating Veronica, who is blonde and 31 years old. But I like to acknowledge and congratulate my players when they play as well as they did today. That was a pleasing result and display. It was a job well done.”
In case you were wondering what Diego was referencing, here’s the video. Just some Argentinian bros broin’ out after a victory – nothin’ to see here, apparently.
