Dwight Howard Might Not Be The Devil, According To Leaked Twitter DMs Purportedly From Dwight Howard

Dwight Howard is arguably becoming the most hated player the NBA with the way he’s insufferably dragged out his impending exit from the Orlando Magic. But yesterday, a Twitter user named Markee Randolph posted some interesting direct messages that appear to be from Howard himself, ones that suggest the Magic may be the real villains in this neverending saga.

Randolph claims to work at Amway Arena, but also says he’s not planning on returning this year. Now, none of this is verified. The messages do seem to be from Howard’s account, but he obviously could have been hacked or it could have been one of Howard’s “people.” And even if Howard did say all this, that doesn’t mean it’s true – you can’t expect Dwight Howard to be the most objective source on Dwight Howard.

I believe the first blotched out word is “asshole.” (And… yep, it is.) And honestly, it’s a valid point. Howard used to be the well-liked, easygoing star, a position that Kevin Durant has now usurped. This whole “Dwight’s an asshole” thing was entirely unexpected, whether it’s justified or not. And people are forgetting about his injury, which, you know, is actually pretty serious.

No, we don’t know if this is true. But if it is, the Magic seem like big assholes, and the Dwightmare makes a whole lot more sense.

Also worth noting: according to Randolph, Howard saw the pictures and told him to take them down. Randolph also claims to know “it was him,” because he “knows people who talk to [Howard] and said he called after all this went down.”

All of this seems surprisingly believable from an obscure arena employee. Then again, this is Dwight Howard DMing pretty revealing stuff to an obscure arena employee. You should obviously be skeptical.

So maybe Dwight isn’t the devil. We don’t know. Things aren’t always as they seem. Be sure to check Randolph’s timeline, because he’s replying to people publicly by the minute, shedding more light on this curious situation.

To be real, all he did was play for the Magic and seriously consider wanting a trade. Literally everything else is some drama ESPN and ‘Weiner and The Bean’ sports radio guys have hung on the story.
