Happy “Floyd Mayweather Jr. Is Out Of Jail” Day

We all get excited on Friday because it means we don’t have to work tomorrow. It guarantees Friday is one of the best, most exciting days of the week. (Unlike its stupid, ugly cousin, Monday.) But this Friday was especially special for one Mr. Floyd Mayweather, Jr.

That’s because Money-May was released from jail today, after serving about two months of a three-month sentence stemming from a domestic violence charge. It sounded like Floyd was having a stinker of a time in the slammer, so I guess it’s a good thing he got out early. I mean, another month, and he would have never fought Pacquiao, right? (Although really, I’m sure he still won’t, which infuriates me—Team Pac-Man all day!)

Oh, and he got out early, reportedly, for “good behavior.”

A spokesperson for the LVPD said Mayweather was being released early for good behavior behind bars.

Floyd was originally sentenced to 6 months in jail after pleading guilty to misdemeanor domestic violence — but 3 months of that sentence was suspended.

I personally think one of the conditions of his early release should have been that he has to fight Pacquiao, and not that he has to do 100 hours of community service. Would have served the entire world better.

Also, a familiar face was there today to pick Floyd up – rapper Curtis James Jackson III, better known as 50 Cent. 50 was part of Mayweather’s bizarre entourage during his last fight against Miguel Cotto, and has also been rumored to be taking over Floyd’s boxing promotion.

P.S. Mayweather is 800 percent wearing a Miami Heat hat in that picture, which makes me despise him even more. Oh Floyd, you’re a Heat fan? That makes so much sense since, considering you were born in Michigan.
