Sacramento Kings Owner George Maloof Gets DUI
George Maloof, co-owner of the Sacramento Kings, got a DUI last night in Las Vegas, according to TMZ. Maloof was cited for “speeding, making an illegal left turn, driving without a valid license and having no proof of insurance.”
Maloof also owns the Palms Casino Resort in Vegas.
This is the second recent incident involving a member of the Kings organization. In late July, second-year star Tyreke Evans was arrested. That arrest garnered national media attention because Evans was racing along California’s Interstate 80 at dangerously high speeds, and was held at gunpoint briefly by a police officer.
