Here’s A Video Of Charles Barkley’s Opinions On The Royal Wedding

I am always amazed by American intolerance, and total lack of understanding of any culture with a history older than ten minutes. But then, pretty much what I would expect from American sports figures. They didn’t get great at their sports by spending time in a classroom, or traveling the world, did they. And it is lucky their shows stay in America. The rest of the world has plenty to laugh about already when they look at the amazing political, financial, and social mind-bogglement that Americans indulge themselves with.

You are absolutely correct. The “Ugly American” Syndrome always reigns. Ill-bred and ill-educated.
Plus, Charles was born a physical freak. Thus deserves adorattion from opur unwashed masses.

Maybe it has something to do with the outrageous excess of coverage for a staged, phony event

Actually, if you ever read the novel the “Ugly American”, the actual “Ugly American” was the good guy. It was all the neat clean cut preppy Ivy League CIA types who were the ones who were ugly inside

Just how ignorant is Charles? Or, is he just as stupid as he sounds? I’m betting on the latter! The monarchy may be old and out of date but, it brings in millions of dollars annually in tourism and more than pays for itself. The style and grace the British public demonstrated at this event, in itself, was refreshing. For those of you who don’t agree with this British spectacle, turn the damned channel, and don’t invite somebody as stupid as Barkley to comment on it. I’d be surprised if Charles even knows where England is. He probably thinks it’s a suburb of Chicago.

I thought the wedding was fabulous and I watched it twice. I agree with a former commentor, “if you don’t want to see it, turn it off. no one is forcing you to watch!” It’s about time someone in that family finally married for love, and that, I think was due strictly to upbringing of his wonderful mother, who was treated abominally by the whole bunch; she was way too good for them! Charles should have married “Pruneface”in the beginning and left beautiful Diana alone.1
