Jennie Finch’s New Baby Has An Interesting Name: Diesel Dean Daigle

Famously attractive Olympian softballer Jennie Finch recently gave birth to her second child. But that’s not the story. What she named that child? That, we’re confident you’ll find interesting.

Finch took to her Twitter account to announce the name of the newest addition to her and former major leaguer Casey Daigle‘s family.

“Our sweet precious Baby Diesel! Thank you all for your sweet prayers, praise God he is doing wonderful!”

No, Diesel is not a nickname. That’s the baby’s real name. And as if that isn’t enough, Diesel’s middle name is Dean, giving young Diesel the full name of Diesel Dean Daigle.

Why Diesel? Maybe Finch is a fan of Shaquille O’Neal? Or maybe she’s a fan of the Fast and Furious franchise? Or maybe she’s just a fan of ’90s professional wrestling?

We may never know. But measuring in at 8 pounds, 2 ounces, and a height of 22 1/4 inches, not to mention two professional athletes as parents, I don’t think anybody’s going to be picking a fight with young Diesel anytime soon.
