LeBron James Helped Put Away Argentina With This Monstrous Dunk

For the second time this week, the United States men’s basketball team played Argentina, this time for a spot in the gold medal game against Spain, who defeated Russia earlier in the day. And for the second time this week, Argentina hung around early. The U.S. led by just seven at halftime, and even late in the third quarter, Argentina remained within striking distance. And then the best player on the planet decided he’d crush any hope the Argentines had of staying competitive:
The U.S. led by 17 at the end of the third quarter, and wound up cruising to a 109-83 win. That’s the danger of LeBron – he’s been content to control games without scoring much for the most part during the Olympics, but when he’s needed, he can do… that. LeBron had 18 in all today, along with seven rebounds and seven assists. Another game dominated, and if he plays like that against Spain on Sunday, they don’t stand much of a chance, either.
