David Letterman Wasted No Time Trying To Make LeBron James Uncomfortable

The LeBron James talk show tour is getting fully revved up, and so far, no train wrecks! James appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman last night, and got a surprising standing ovation from the crowd at New York’s Ed Sullivan theater (LeBron himself seemed like he was caught off guard by the warm Manhattan welcome).
After some pleasantries, Letterman cut right to the heart of the matter — the heart of the matter being, “What can I ask LeBron that will make him immediately uneasy on my couch?”
”Well, now that you’ve got this out of your system,” he said. “Are you ready to go back to Cleveland and play some ball?”
ALERT! ALERT! EVASIVE MANEUVERS! EVASIVE MANEUVERS!
“Right now, I’ll play no ball right now,” James replied.
Whew.
The whole late night chit-chat — a chit-chat which LeBron handled well — is here. And in case you’re at work and can’t watch, Dan Devine at Ball Don’t Lie has a fuller breakdown of the two men in suits talking.
