LeBron James On PTI: Early On, The Backlash To “The Decision” Hurt Me

LeBron James visited PTI this afternoon for their “Five Food Minutes” segment, and in addition to talking about his ownership of Liverpool, and his villainous role in the 2011 NBA season, James discussed his televised decision and how he was “hurt” by its initial PR backlash.

Asked by Tony Kornheiser if the near-universal vitriol he felt post-Decision affected him, James said, “It did early on. To see a lot of the backlash I got, the fans that I thought were fans that were not, it was an adjustment I had to make.”
