Ohio Politician Films Campaign Ad Spoofing LeBron Commercial (Video)
Just as surely as the LeBron commercial was going to generate discussion, it was going to generate parodies. You’ve seen one high-profile riff, and via Lee Fisher, U.S. Senate candidate from Ohio, you can see another above. And it’s pretty good.
It’s got the “Decision” opening, exaggerated basketball slaps…not to mention a totally undoctored behind-the-back halfcourt shot and accusations that his opponent “gets his money from Wall Street and the lobbyists.” Something for everyone!
Also noteworthy, though, is how the ad is teased on Fisher’s campaign website:
Watch Lee’s new video “I Believe In Ohio.” The video is a spoof on a new Lebron James ad you may have seen. Unlike Lebron, Lee will always be here for Ohio.
Oh, that’s just a low blow right there.
