Michelle Beadle Will Once Again Don A Red Dress, This Time On Letterman

“SportsNation” host Michelle Beadle will be making an appearance on David Letterman’s “The Late Show” tonight, and the following pictures were recently tweeted from the show’s green room:

If the dress looks strangely familiar, that’s because it’s very similar to the dress Beadle wore for the 2010 ESPYs. In case you’re just joining us, that dress caused quite the internet hullabaloo, and has since spurred Beadle on to a decidedly higher level of visibility. So, in case you’re keeping score at home, I am completely taking credit for her appearance on Letterman tonight.

Here’s what Beadle had to say about the first time she made the internet go nuts:

“I love that dress, and I ran my ass off for three weeks before the ESPYs to make sure I didn’t look like a cow when I wore it. It was sort of flattering and sort of funny all at once.”

I love Michelle & didn’t know her last name was for a dorm proctor, which I was [a "beadle"] and was responsible for getting the students out of the dorm to the dining area on time in a very uptight boarding school. She certainly knows her sports and I watch her show on ESPN2 every chance I get. She usually outscores her insufferable male sidekick, which is a good thing because he’s the sort of dude who should be kept in his place. I can’t think of a better date than Michelle and I wonder if that horny ol’ dick-on-wheels Letterman tried to hit on her.
