France’s Nic Batum Had One Of The More Vicious Olympic Crotch Punches You’ll Ever See

During France and Spain’s quarterfinal Olympic basketball game today, France’s Nic Batum unleashed a vicious punch to the crotch on Spain’s Juan Carlos Navarro. When we say “vicious,” we mean it: this wasn’t accidental, and it wasn’t a mishit. Batum closed his fist and really went for it.

Spain would get the last laugh, however, defeating France 66-59. They advance to the semifinals and will face Russia.

Here’s the GIF of the brutal crotch punch in question, via Buzzfeed. Miraculously, Batum wasn’t ejected for this.
