Opening Ceremony Video: The Queen Of England Jumps Out Of A Helicopter

A stunt double dressed as the Queen of England ran past James Bond and jumped out a helicopter in another notable moment from tonight’s Opening Ceremony at the 2012 London Olympics. We’ve already had a weird moment, and a cool moment, so I believe this one counts as our first funny moment? Sure, why the hell not.

The Queen’s stunt double landed safely (we assume) outside the stadium, and the Queen herself (the real one) emerged to christen the Games. And no, we don’t know why the Brits weren’t ballsy enough to actually shove their 86-year-old monarch out of a helicopter, either. For shame, Danny Boyle!
