Disturbing: Parents Engage In Bloody Brawl During Youth Soccer Game

During a soccer match in Bulgaria between Levski Sofia’s youth team and Cherno, a fight broke out among the parents on the touchline and one of the participants in the fracas was former Bulgarian international footballer Daniel Borimirov.

This wasn’t another case of overzealous parents living through their children. In this case, the instigating parent (Borimirov) actually lived out the goal (Bulgaria finished fourth at the 1994 World Cup), so this brawl actually redefines the stereotype. It’s depressing to see young kids follow their pitiful parents’ lead and join the scuffle. The worst part? The few sane peacekeeping parents getting slowly drowned out by the drumbeat for violence.
