Report: British Woman Claims She Is Carrying Landon Donovan’s Love Child

A British tabloid will soon publish a story claiming that a U.K. woman is pregnant with Landon Donovan’s child. SI’s Grant Wahl originally broke the story following team USA’s loss to Ghana.

Donovan is currently in the process of getting back together with estranged wife Bianca Kajlich. This…might complicate things.

One would presume that, if the allegation is true, that Donovan’s relationship with the British woman occurred some time during the winter, when he was playing for Everton of the English Premier League.

Donovan told SI.com that he was, “informed of the possibility during the World Cup, and if I need to take responsibility, then I will provide the appropriate support. This is a private matter and I will refrain from further comment at this time.”

This is obviously not a denial, and one has to wonder when exactly Donovan found out about this – the SI article only mentions that Donovan knew at some point during USA’s run to the final 16.
