“I Miss The Dance Teams”: Ron Artest Metta World Peace On What He Misses About The NBA

The NBA lockout is still ongoing, and that makes a lot of people upset. One of those people: the Lakers’ Metta World Peace (formerly known, of course, as Ron Artest). World Peace just wants to get back to doing what he loves, and in a series of tweets earlier today, he demonstrated just how much he misses the NBA – and what he misses about it. Safe to say, when you read them, you’ll miss it just as much. Some of his best:

Brilliant. And perhaps the most heart-tugging one of all…

The city of Seattle agrees, Ron/Metta. The city of Seattle agrees. It’s also worth mentioning that last night, he produced a series of tweets that was perhaps even better than the lockout edition, where he imagined getting some Godfather’s pizza with President Obama, wondered who Ron Paul is, and shared something very interesting he heard:

I heard all white people want Jesse Jackson to be president with al sharpton as secretary of defense. Is this true

We somehow doubt that. What we don’t doubt: many have said the players are losing the lockout PR battle, which seems strange considering they were the ones locked out, the owners are even richer than they are, and the players are the only side that’s made actual concessions in bargaining talks. What to do? After those tweets above, here’s what: make Metta World Peace the face of the players union. You think you’ll find passion like that from the owners?
