Cheers to the Scottish paper, which is the new Sunday Herald as best as I can tell from the photo. Oddly, the name of the newspaper is also a secret in Britain, or so says the Guardian’s website.

at the end of the day, boys will be boys, and girls know it, but the idea that hiding the truth helps, is a laugh, but also, hope the publicity does,nt produce profit for her either, so they bonked, so what

it’s incredible that the courts chose to stifle freedom of speech. why do these rich footballers or anyone rich need special injunctions ? if there’s one law for everyone super injunctions should be available for everyone. it’s baffling that the court ignores the fact that these overpaid stars owe it back to the public – their fame and wealth, and that it works both ways, if you are famous, be prepared for people talking both positives and negatives.

I find the attitude of the judge to be very immature. its not about twitter or technology. people would talk regardless!

It would have been yesterday’s news if he did not go to extreme lengths to cover up his affair and hide his identity. He behaved like a complete heel towards a young woman whith whom he had a six months affair. For that reason alone he deserves utmost condemnation.

 Some idiot above talking about “bible thumpers” and “these do-gooders, holier than thou types”. I wasn’t aware Ryan Giggs was either of these. Just because he isn’t constantly plastered over the front pages like a John Terry, then he must be a “goody goody”??? Maybe if people read less gutter press they’d have a broader view of the world around them, and not think you have to be one or the other. As for this woman involved, this “model” (she gets her fake t*ts out in cheap lads mags, so I suppose that qualifies her), she clearly sees it as her right to sleep with someone wealthy and famous, then go to the press and sell her story. More likely she sees it as integral to her career, as do others like her. Stop and think about that – sleeping with someone just to subsequently sell the story and make a load of cash. And we have the “right” to know about this? It’s in our interest? It’s none of our business and the sooner we realise that, the sooner people like Imogen Thomas will disappear

If the discredited footballer is Ryan Giggs he has been foolish in the extreme. As a footballer he is celebrated for his achievements in the game and achieved iconic status because of that, as a man he has let himself and his family down, if he applied the same disciplines he has adopted throughout his career he would not be in the mess he is in now. I dont think any less of Giggs as a person as we never know what the state of his marriage is, he always comes across a good guy. He has a lot of work now to rebuild his marriage and ultimately salvage his own reputation. The question must be what was he thinking, unless of course his marriage is in a mess, but that doesn’t excuse his behaviour, the persona he has cultivated over the years lies in shreds and goes some way to tarnishing his glittering career. 

I dont think either of them are bad people, that is stretching it a bit far. Yes, people are getting hurt by the fallout of this, most notably Gigg’s family. Imogen is a single woman and can do what she wants where men are concerned, but, she should have known Giggs was off limits and so should’nt have approached him, The biggest aspect of this is that giggs looks foolish by trying to hide his infidelity and in doing so proves there is something to hide. It is a shame he has been so foolish because he is an ok guy on the face of it but fell foul of a woman’s charms and in that proving he is human. I think the sunday herald has acted spitefully by revealing gigg’s identity, this serves no purpose whatsoever and proves that their morals are lower than anyone else’s

I think it’s Tevez, that’s why he’s left the country. If a scottish newspaper publishes a picture of Ryan Giggs, does that mean it is Giggs. Where is the proof…? has Imogen said it is Giggs, NO ! so where does the Scottish herald feel justified in naming Giggs in this manner. At this moment it is speculation, nothing more and to try and discredit someone without proof is as immoral as any of this story. There are more important issues in the world. 

 I am amazed she has little taste but having said that she put the work in why shouldn’t she be paid! I don’t feel sorry for any of them but Giggs has shown if proof were needed he couldn’t earn a living using his brains!
