School Can’t Name Team “Cougars” Because It’s Offensive To Hot, Middle-Aged Women

Yeah,  my high school, Columbia cougars, Maplewood/South Orange, NJ, must have been grandfathered in by the district’s social police. But, the real reason Corner Canyon High’s administrators fear the nickname: only three things you can do to a cougar:  kill it, love it or screw it. Why not consider Foxes, Snakes, Crocodiles or Blowfish?

The name cougar is NOT used to describe attractive middle aged women. It is the term applied to middle aged women on the prowl for younger lovers.  Get your facts straight.
