Sheep Attack! Farm Animals Disrupt Tour De France (Video)

A flock of wild sheep unexpectedly strayed into the path of Tour De France riders yesterday during the race’s final climbing stage. Among those who came under attack from the terrifying farm animals was Alberto Contador, who is currently leading the Tour.

In all seriousness, it was a dangerous scenario. The climb up the Col du Soulor was already plagued by fog and wet roads, and when the sheep emerged from the grass below it caused some riders to put their feet on the ground to keep from crashing.

Contador, who was in front of the pack, came out of the scrum unscathed and now prepares for his showdown with rival Andy Schleck on the stage’s final climb to the Col du Tourmalet.
