Shaq And Charles Barkley Had A Shirt-Off On Inside The NBA Last Night

For the past few weeks, TNT’s Emmy-Award-winning studio show Inside the NBA has been building towards a “Shirt-Off” between analysts Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley. It was a relentlessly teased social media stunt and an obvious ploy for attention, but in the end, like most stunts and ploys Inside tries, it ended up being pretty entertaining. Look, Shaq painted on some abs!
While watching a sheepish Chuck and a nervous Shaq get on stage for the big reveal had some questioning why on earth they were up at 1AM Eastern waiting to see two dudes take their clothes off, most loved the countless shit-talking opportunities two shirtless, retired NBA players provided. The topic ended up trending on Twitter, Shaq was declared the victor (even though he did paint on his abs), and Chuck got a word in on the country’s growing obesity epidemic. So everyone won. Except Ernie Johnson.
(Fast forward to the 5-minute mark, where the shirtlessness and humiliation begins.)
