Sideline Reporter Jaime Maggio Is A “Breakout Performer” At NCAA Tournament

Like a heretofore-unknown underclassmen that generates some buzz thanks to a strong March performance, TBS sideline reporter Jaime Maggio is getting some attention for her sideline work for TBS.

“It sounds like the breakout performer so far in Chicago is CBS/TBS sideline reporter Jaime Maggio,” tweeted SI.com writer Stewart Mandel. “Not on the preseason depth chart.”

“It’s official.@jaimemaggio is a breakout star from the CBS/Turner crew,” tweeted sports media blogger Ken Fang.

Maggio has actually been on the scene for awhile, as an anchor on CBS’ Los Angeles affiliate for their sports show. She’s also done sideline work for the NFL on FOX, and was a courtside reporter for the Philadelphia 76ers. The 76ers sideline gig earned her a 2010 Mid-Atlantic Emmy Award, so she has some chops.
