Swiss Footballer Breaks Olympic Record For Most-Bigoted Tweet Ever, Is Sent Home

Ok, so maybe this isn’t more racist, necessarily, than Greek triple jumper Voula Papachristou’s insanely-racist tweet that got her sent home from the Olympics. But I think we can call this Swiss footballer’s also-insanely-bigoted tweet dumber (and that’s saying something) than Papachristou’s, because the entire non-racist world had just finished lashing out on Papachristou for an entire week on how dumb she was. And he went ahead and did this anyway.

So, this is how Michel Morganella’s mind works. Wait for Olympian to send incredibly-moronic, racist tweet. See severe punishment issued. Wait for disappointing match result. Try to top said racism/bigotry. Certainly equal it, promptly get expelled.

Maybe he was busy preparing, so he hadn’t heard. Either way, he doesn’t get the benefit of the doubt, because he’s unspeakably dumb.

This was the tweet (in French):

Je les tous Defonce Coréens, allez vous tous Bruler, bande de trisos

Google translate has trouble decoding it, clearly offended by its extreme racism.

WeAreFootball.com translates it as such:

I want to beat up all South Koreans! Bunch of mentally handicapped retards!

The AP offers their epithet-decoding skills as well:

I f*** all Koreans, go all burn yourselves. Ahahahaha bunch of ‘tards.

Regardless of the exact meaning, it was racist. And racist enough to get him expelled, per the AP. He managed to direct his racism to the entire country, but if that wasn’t enough, he extended beyond racism with the “retarded” offense. Double-bigotry takes a truly concerted effort.

But if you thought this was the dumbest possible thing an Olympian could do, realize that it gets worse.

During the Swiss national team’s 2-1 loss to South Korea, Morganella committed one of the most unscrupulous dives of all time, with a howl-worthy attempt at faking an injury. (If he wanted a more-belivable dive, he probably should’ve looked more constipated).

Morganella’s dive rivaled the distastefulness of his haircut, which he actually made a conscious effort to get in advance of the Olympics team portraits.

Excuse me, barber. I’m going to the Olympics in a few days, and I’m going to send out a really racist tweet. Since the whole world will be discovering that I’m the world’s biggest tool, could you please give me the Ultimate Douchebag Soccer-Player Special? Cristiano Ronaldo gave me a coupon; it should be 50% off.

How one man can have the poor decision-making skills to make all three of these blunders is a truly impressive feat. Not just racism, not just unsportsmanlike injury-feigning, but this god-awful haircut, that makes it look like he has a squirrel on the peak of his otherwise bald head. Or perhaps the squirrel just ate the remaining follicles.

Justifiably, Morganella was heckled throughout the match by fans. This clearly upset his fragile little feelings, so he lashed out on Twitter, because as you can see by this whole incident, Morganella is TOUGH AS NAILS.

And seriously, go get a freaking haircut, Michel.

After all the buildup about Voula Papachristou’s tweet, most people react with “what was racist about that?”  I know you are trying to push you Cultural Marxism here.  That is clear.

“Regardless of the exact meaning, it was racist. “

Israel commits genocide and you have no problem with them participating in the Olympics, eh?

  • Busanman

I’m not excusing what he said, but you need to set a few facts straight. The booing for his dive didn’t hurt his feelings; it angered South Korean fans, hundreds of whom began abusing him viciously on his facebook and Twitter accounts in both Korean and English after the game. His “racist” tweet was a response to the hundreds of retards (my words now) who were abusing him online. Not the best way he could have handled it, granted, but let’s be clear about what went on here.

  • Matthew Rudnitsky

It is not “Cultural Marxism” to chastise someone for overt racism.

  • Samyzud

It is only OK to say “Fuck
All Americans” or “Fuck All Israelis”. Everything else is racism.

  • Korean-American86

Why do you think they were booing him? A player was hurt and Morganella was taunting him, when he is the one who faked an injury. Why don’t YOU get your facts straight FIRST before calling other people retards. No one said that the people who provoked him were right in any way. You should understand that his actions provoked those soccer fans first. You calling other people “retards” doesn’t validate your opinion in any way. You become the same person. Do Koreans a favor and don’t call yourself “Busanman”. You’re a disgrace.

  • Busanman

YOu’re right, no one said that the people provoking him were right in any way, but that’s only because nobody even MENTIONED it, which I think is worth pointing out. Thanks for clarifying the source of the fans’ anger; now would you care to point out why that matters? I understand he provoked them first, but he didn’t go on their web pages and say sh1t about their mothers, like the retard fans did. And yes, I’m calling anyone who does that a retard, again. Are you defending that behavior? Let’s call it what it is: you don’t like “retarded”? Fine. It’s crude, childish, unwarranted, and barbaric. How’s that? Did you untwist your Korean-American panties from out of your a s s?
