Today In Fantastic Local News: English Teacher Takes Football Players To Her House For A Good Ol’ Fashioned Beer And Sex Party

Police in Prue, Oklahoma say a 26-year-old English teacher took a group of football players to her house after a scrimmage, supplied them with alcohol, then took one of the boys — whom she had apparently been carrying on a romantic relationship with — into her bathroom so they could have intercourse. That’s three bad life choices in one sentence! Spectacular.

Katie Megan Hightower has been arrested on charges of second-degree rape of a minor and furnishing an alcoholic beverage to minors, both of which are felonies.

According to court documents, students at Prue High School told deputies Hightower bought a group beer after a football scrimmage on Aug. 17, took them to her home and disappeared into the bedroom to have sexual intercourse with one of the underage boys.

That’s pretty weird!

Hightower rode the bus to and from the football scrimmage and sat next to the boy during the out-of-town trip, an affidavit states.

That’s super creepy!

After returning, Hightower and three students went to Keystone Lake for about an hour, and the students said they overheard Hightower calling the boy “Babe” and then put her head in his lap.

That’s the saddest part of all!

Hightower and the boy had apparently been carrying on for some time: after searching Hightower’s phone, investigators said out of 1,254 calls or text messages sent or received in the month of August, “45 percent of them were to or from the boy.”

If convicted, Hightower faces a combined 20 years in the state penitentiary for both charges. And suddenly, the jovial mood of a “female teacher has sex with a football player” is buzz-killed.
