1. Ahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

[ESPN]

2. Your latest Olympic controversy: a boxer getting screwed.

Yes, no matter what the setting, boxing will still find a way to be terrible. [Deadspin, BuzzFeed]

3. Baron Davis Brian Davies revisits classic Olympic gymnastics moments.

Yeah, there’s significant entertainment value in seeing Baron David dressed up as a British rocker and talking with a British accent. But what I keep coming back to here is: “Brian Davies” is very, very similar to my dad’s name. So, in watching this video, I keep going back and forth in my mind between a few different mental images: 1) my dad playing point guard in the NBA; 2) my dad dressing up as a British rocker and speaking with a fake British accent; 3) my dad trying to come up with an alias for some reason, failing miserably, and settling on “Brian Davies” even though it’s not nearly different enough to fool anyone. This will prove to be a great source of enjoyment for me personally. [The NOC]

4. Ryan Lochte, fashion icon.

5. Not sports related, still important.

How the brains of smart people work. [h/t The Atlantic Wire]
