Victor Hanescu Will Take Your Between-The-Legs Shot, And Raise You This (Video)

We know Roger Federer and his sublime between-the-legs returns usually dominate tennis’ trick-shot landscape.

But Victor Hanescu of Romania has an entry that warrants inclusion in the conversation. In his second round loss to Michael Llodra at the US Open, Hanescu at least delivered one of the shots of the tournament.

Hanescu looks ready to deliver an overhead smash, but instead intentionally whiffs on the shot and delicately places it over the net with an underhand volley.

He may not have survived the second round, but at least his cheeky little shot was a marked improvement over his last Grand Slam final exit.
