There Is An Event Called The Bikini Fitness Open In Russia, And It Looks Like This

Slow news afternoons happen. They’re a part of the “writing about things” deal – sometimes there just isn’t as much to write about. So you deal. Sometimes, you write about something that you might normally think would be interesting enough to post. And other times, other blessed times, something falls out of the sky.

I’m not even sure whether the Vladivostok (Russia) Bikini Fitness Open falls on the “thing I’d usually ignore” end of the spectrum or the “beautiful, beautiful manna from internet heaven” end. Perhaps it’s somewhere on a continuum, rather than at an extreme. A few things I do know for sure, though: an event called the “Vladivostok Bikini Fitness Open” exists, it happened, and the women involved appear to have both been wearing bikinis and been physically fit, so the event delivered what it promised.
