WATCH: Heat And Cavs Fans React To LeBron’s Announcement

LeBron James has made his decision, as you might have heard. And man, is it a crusher for Cleveland basketball. But it’s also rather good news for the Miami Heat, who have quite a trio to build around (though right now, it’s about all they have).

ESPN, of course, had cameras stationed in bars in both Cleveland and Miami, on hand to document the opposite fan reactions. They’re about what you’d expect, except maybe the Cleveland one is a bit more subdued than one might think.

And on this whole situation – yeah, I watched it. No, I couldn’t turn away. But yes, I, as others also tweeted, felt dirty for indulging LeBron’s extreme vanity. My prediction on his destination was wrong, since I figured LeBron wouldn’t possibly take such a giant dump on Cleveland via a TV special he orchestrated two months after taking ANOTHER giant dump on the city by flat-out quitting in the Cavs’ last game.

But I was wrong, and apparently he was willing to do all that. I don’t blame Cavs fans for bitterness, or burning his jersey. Video of the fan reactions below. We’ll see where all this goes from here.
