WATCH: Landon Donovan’s Equalizing Penalty Kick Vs. Ghana

Landon Donovan has scored on a penalty kick in the 62nd minute vs. Ghana.

After a first half in which the US was utterly dominated by Ghana’s speed and athleticism, the Americans are showing life at the beginning of the second half. Clint Dempsey was taken down in the penalty box, and the USA was given their first penalty kick of the tournament.

Landon Donovan, after saying a silent prayer and ratcheting up the already-high tension just a bit more, put it away, and the match is all tied at 1. Watch the video here.
