Watch Michelle Obama Hug Every Player And Coach On The U.S. Men’s Basketball Team

The First Family is a basketball bunch, this we know. And Michelle Obama just couldn’t contain her national pride and hoops fandom on Sunday, giving each member of the U.S. Men’s Basketball team a big ol’ American momma hug after their victory over France.

This was basically the greatest Ellio’s/Ovaltine commercial ever made. Think about it. Imagine Sunday’s game was just played out on the street. LeBron and Kobe gathered all their school buddies and played a pickup game against a few kids from the rival school across the river. After working up a sweat and playing hard, they come home to their collective mother who waits with open arms, pizza bites in the oven and milkshakes on the table. It just warms our American hearts.

Some highlights include Kevin Durant boxing out James Harden for his hug (that’s what James Harden gets for laying an egg in the NBA Finals), and the camera cutting away when it was Mike D’Antoni’s turn, because let’s face it, that mustache was probably way too much for the cameras and the First Lady to handle.
