Were The Knicks Robbed Vs. The Celtics Last Night?
When Paul Pierce hit his game-winning jumper in last night’s Knicks-Celtics game, there should have been .6 seconds left on the clock–not the .4 seconds the Knicks were given, argues CBS Sports.
The New York Post, seeing an opportunity to cry foul on behalf of Knicks fans everywhere, has wasted no time in fueling the conspiracy theory.
Of course, had the Knicks been given those extra .2 seconds, Amar’e Stoudemire‘s three-pointer might have counted. The Knicks might have won their ninth straight game, and instead of a moral victory, they might have had an actual victory.
Of course, this all might be wishful thinking on behalf of a disappointed fanbase.
