Wizards Center JaVale McGee Thinks Michael Wilbon Has “Women’s Tendencies”

Washington Wizards big man JaVale McGee (or “Pierre,” as he’s known in some circles) got into a Twitter scuffle with ESPN personality Michael Wilbon last Wednesday night at the ESPYs.

Apparently, Wilbon took issue with McGee’s choice of attire — calling him and teen pop sensation Justin Bieber the two worst-dressed men at the awards show. The PTI host issued Bieber a free pass, though, saying at least he was a worldwide star, unlike McGee.

McGee responded in kind, tweeting that Wilbon had “women’s tendencies” and questioning his sexuality. It’s worth mentioning that he managed to do all of this while remaining in character as “Pierre,” his summer alter-ego who refers to himself in the third person.

Wow.  I’m speechless.  They both have a point, though.

Wilbon is old school in comparison to McGee, so seeing a guy attend a red carpet event in “casual” wear is unnerving.  For McGee, who is probably not accustomed to being scrutinized about his wardrobe, I’m glad he stood up for himself, but was going after Wilbon’s manhood the only way to go?

Damn, JaVale can’t even use his own name when criticizing someone else? That’s weak, bro.

Wilbon telling anyone how to dress is weak, too!  He is a terrible dresser, won’t wear a tie, no socks, probably got stinkie, sweatie feet?  Why speak on it, did they hire him to be the fashion police, or was that a freebie?  Late to the party, I am I know, but really Wilbon what heck Yo?
