This Error-Filled, Game-Losing Play Pretty Much Sums Up The Houston Astros’ Season
So last night, in dramatic fashion, the Washington Nationals beat a recreation league team in Houston (which surprisingly took Washington to extra innings) after two two-base errors allowed a runner to score in the eleventh inning.
…Wait, that’s the Houston Astros, a professional baseball team?
But seriously, am I watching a major league game, or a Backyard Baseball clip? Dudes running into each other, throws getting air-mailed, and fundamentals completely being tossed out the window. Yeah, Roger Bernadina kept running, because in Backyard Baseball, you know you’re going to be safe no matter what. Worst case scenario, the throw gets caught at home plate, and Bernadina scores in a rundown.
