Bear Grylls Throws Out The First Pitch In L.A., But Not Before Setting It On Fire
If Bear Grylls is going to do something, he’s going to do it like a badass. Asking him to simply throw a ball is downright insulting — where’s the risk, or disgust factor, or violence in that? So instead, watch Bear Grylls light a ball on fire and then throw it at the Dodgers.
For those who don’t know, Grylls is formerly of the Discovery Channel TV show Man vs. Wild, which pits the British adventurer against nature, usually in disgusting ways. It could have been worse, we suppose. He might have tried to eat the ball for the protein in the stitching, or use it as a makeshift enema, or kill Frank McCourt with it.
And, in typical L.A. fashion, nobody is impressed. Is it because he used a lighter, rather than rubbing two baseball jerseys together?
