The Reds’ Brandon Phillips Thinks Losing Feels Like Having A Small “Richard”

The Cincinnati Reds were one of the hottest teams in baseball coming out of the All-Star Break. A 19-3 stretch catapulted them to the top of the majors, and even without the injured Joey Votto, the Reds looked destined to be a top team in the National League.

But after dropping a game to the Pirates on Sunday and then getting swept in a three-game series by the Brewers, a four-game losing streak has some players frustrated, and apparently not just with what’s happening on the field. Take second baseman Brandon Phillips, who chose to address a question about the team’s recent losing streak on Twitter:
