Coma Victim Utters ‘Derek Jeter’ As First Conscious Words, Unknowingly Confesses Man Crush To Everyone (Video)

31-year-old NYPD officer Carlos Omeda was in a coma for 11 days in May after he was struck by a motorcycle while in pursuit of suspects in Brooklyn.

His first words when he finally regained consciousness? Derek Jeter.

Omeda had the chance to meet Jeter recently when WPIX 11 and the New York Yankees admirably coordinated to arrange for Omeda and his family to have an exclusive (and we mean exclusive) tour of Yankee Stadium.

As you can imagine, WPIX 11′s segment that covered the event was, as Stewie would say, kinda nice. The video of Omeda’s trip to Yankee Stadium is below:
