Watch The Last Out Of A Demoted Cleveland Indians Reliever’s AAA Perfect Game
On May 19th, the Cleveland Indians designated relief pitcher Justin Germano for assignment, mostly on account of his 5.65 ERA. He passed waivers, accepted demotion to the AAA Columbus Clippers, and on July 26th pitched the first perfect game in club history.
The 28-year-old hurled only the fifth perfect game in International League history — the last being tossed by Bronson Arroyo for Pawtucket in 2003. Here’s how the final out of Germano’s looked & sounded.
