We Thought We’d Already Found The Worst Little League Ump In America. Then, This Gentleman Waltzed Into Our Lives.

Seriously. You are worse than this guy. How old are these kids? Like, nine? Ten? This is, for some, their first time playing organized sports. And you’re bee-boppin and scattin’ all over the field like it’s Friday night at the Bombay Club.

Dude: no one is here to see you.

The prime concern here is making sure the kids have a good time. And how can they have a good time if, every time they step to the plate, they’re worried about striking out and having to deal with Louis friggin’ Armstrong blowing his strikeout trumpet and embarrassing them in front of the entire grade?

You know what? I hope somebody follows you around and gives you an exaggerated strike three call when you mess up in normal, everyday situations.

I’d imagine it would go something like:

Trip on the way to the car? 

STRAHIIIIIKE.

Coffee on the pants?

THAT’SASTRAHIIIIIKE.

Nervous, audible fart on a first date?

YEROUTTATHERRREEEEE, CHONCHO!

See, dude? It would be embarrassing. So go easy on the kids from now on.
