Padres Announcers Get A Little Too Excited Over This Ball Girl’s Catch

Just another day at the office for this ball girl. Protect and serve; those are the duties that come with the job. But how about the announcers? Guy doesn’t wait two seconds after she makes the grab before he calls her the catch of the day. Act like you’ve been there before. And “hubba, hubba?” I know the Padres aren’t playing particularly well, but unless that’s an insidery baseball thing, we’ve never heard that one used to describe a catch.

P.S. Never write the ball girl’s name on her jersey if your play-by-play guy is only going to creepily incorporate it.
